What
to expect when you come to the Mesquite
Championship Rodeo
At 6:30 pm the doors open
Families with children can enjoy pony
rides, petting zoo, bull photos, and
Wild Bill’s western store
and a Sonny Bryan's BBQ pavilion.
At 8:00 pm the action starts
We always start the rodeo with the
National Anthem and a traditional Grand
Entry parade of flags, contestants and
officials that links Mesquite with
rodeos of the past.
The action goes non-stop until 10:00
pm
We’ve got all the rodeo events you’ve
come to expect at
a
championship rodeo: Bull Riding, Saddle
Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Cowgirl
Barrel Racing, Tie-Down Roping, Steer
Wrestling, Chuckwagon
Races, Cowboy Poker, and Team Roping.
For the kids in attendance there is the
Kids Calf Scramble and Kids Mutton
Bustin'.
TV monitors around the arena provide
slow motion replays of all the action.
