1. Is Resistol Arena Air-Conditioned?
YES

2. How much are the tickets to the Rodeo?
“Children under 3 are FREE if they do not occupy a seat and sit on a lap.
The Reserve Box Seats are:
$30 (1st row, Box 1-11, A & B Side)
$20 (2nd-3rd row, Box 1-11, A & B Side)
$14 (1st-3rd rows, Box 12-17, A & B Side, at the Roping Chute end)

The Reserved Grandstand prices are:
$12 Adults (Sections C1-C10 and D1-D10)
$7 Children 3-12 years and Seniors 59 and above (Sections C1-C10 and D1-D10)

3. Where is the handicap seating?
It is located on the 1st row of Sections C1 thru D1. People who are accompanying the handicap
person(s) may sit with them on the first row.

4. What are the seats like?
All Reserved Box Seats are individual seats with arms and all Reserved Grandstand Seats are bench seats with backs. Visitors may bring a blanket, cushion etc. to sit on.

5. Is there a charge for parking?
YES, $5.00 per vehicle. The parking lot is paved and lighted.

6. When is the 2008 Rodeo Season?
The 2008 rodeo season is every Friday and Saturday night, April 4th through September 27th.

7. What time does it start?
The gates open at 6:30 PM. The Rodeo performance runs from 8:00 PM until 10:00 PM.

8. What is there to do?
We have pony rides ($4 per child), a petting zoo ($4 per child), Bull Photos ($10), Wild Bill’s Western Store and Sonny Bryan’s BBQ pavilion. All are available when the gates open at 6:30 PM

9. How much is the BBQ buffet?
$10.95 for Adults
$7.00 for Children

10. What is on the BBQ buffet?
BBQ beef brisket, sliced smoked sausage, BBQ sauce, rodeo beans, country potato salad, relishes, hot rolls, peach cobbler, iced tea, & lemonade.

11. Is beer served?
Yes, except for Reserved Grandstand seating in Section D1, which is non-alcoholic.

12. Can you bring your own alcoholic beverages?
No.

13. Can I bring a sack lunch/snacks?
No, but award-winning Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse BBQ serves delicious buffet dinner in the Pavilion and also serves in concession areas.

14. Is this a professional rodeo & professional cowboys?
YES, during April and May we are a PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) sanctioned rodeo and the cowboys are professional. Beginning on June 13th, Bull Riding is sanctioned by the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Discovery Tour and Barrel Racing is sanctioned by the PWRA (Professional Women’s Rodeo Association). Other events such as Team Roping and Saddle Bronc Riding are open for entry.

15. Can I ride in the Grand Entry?
YES, as long as you have your own horse. Bring your horse and yourself to the NORTH entrance and ask a security guard. If you have any questions call John Painter at 972-285-8777 ext 2013.

16. How do I enter my child in Mutton Bustin’?
Children can sign up each night at Resistol Arena from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm. At 7:45 pm we hold a random draw and select eight (8) children to participate in that nights rodeo performance. The sign-up table is located on the East side of the arena (adjacent to the pony rides). Children must be ages 4 years and older and weigh under 55 pounds (weight limit will be strictly enforced).

17. Can I use my camera, digital camera or camcorder?
YES.

18. How far are you from Downtown Dallas?
Approximately 15 minutes. Otherwise, depending on traffic and construction 30 minutes to one hour.
